Andrew Madden

Solicitor Litigation

Andrew is part of our Litigation Department, specialising in representing clients in police prosecutions and Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal (VOCAT) applications, as well as providing advice in all manner of civil claims. He was admitted to practice law in February 2007.

Andrew made the transition from a career in journalism to law graduating with Honours from Deakin University in 2005. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Melbourne.

Away from work, Andrew is kept busy as the President of the Redan Football-Netball Club.

Rob Gray

Rob is a member of the Heinz & Partners Family Law Department.

Rob graduated with degrees in Arts and Law from the University of Queensland in 2002 and was admitted to practice in the Victorian and Federal jurisdictions in 2003.

Since admission Rob has practiced primarily in the areas of Family Law, Children's Court (Family Division) and Crimes (Family Violence).

Away from work, Rob has been instrumental in setting up the Faith, Hope and Love Children's Foundation, a charity raising money for children's causes in developing countries. He is also a former member of the management committee and current volunteer solicitor at the Central Highlands Community Legal Centre, a not-for-profit law referral service located in Ballarat.

Lubna Koudos

Lubna joined Heinz & Partners in 2006 as an articled clerk having graduated from The MacRobertson Girls' High School and completing her Bachelor of Laws at Monash University.

Having been admitted to practice in 2007, Lubna works within the firm's Business Law department and advises clients on a range of areas including retail and commercial leasing, franchising, commercial agreements, business sales and purchases, Wills and Powers of Attorney.

Jess Buscombe

Jess joined Heinz & Partners as an Articled Clerk in January 2008 after completing a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Arts degrees, graduating with Honours in Law.

Jess is a part of the Family Law team and enjoys this type of work as "it offers diversity in issues and clients". Jess gets a sense of real satisfaction from obtaining positive outcomes for clients of Heinz & Partners and therefore works hard to achieve such outcomes.
