Graduating from Deakin University in 2018, Tamar relocated from Melbourne to Ballarat to accept a role at the Ballarat & Grampians Community Legal Service, gaining experience predominantly in Family Law matters, including Family Violence Intervention Orders.
During her time at the Community Legal Centre, Tamar shaped her commitment to promoting access to justice for individuals from diverse backgrounds within the region. Through this experience, she developed a keen understanding of the importance of resolving legal matters efficiently and cost-effectively, thereby alleviating the stress often accompanying legal processes. With a strong ethos of empathy and empowerment, Tamar strives to ensure that every client feels heard and supported throughout their journey.
Beyond her role in community legal services, Tamar is dedicated to fostering the family law community in Ballarat. Serving as a Young Lawyers’ Representative of the Ballarat & District Law Association and as a committee member of the Family Law Pathways Network, Tamar actively contributes to initiatives aimed at enhancing legal resources and support systems for families navigating complex legal issues. Her passion for advocacy and collaboration underscores her commitment to serving both the legal profession and the broader community of Ballarat.
